Wind-It-Tight Engines To Sponsor 2007 Dragway 42 Mod Class; Season's 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Racers To Receive Cash Bonus
Wind-It-Tight Engines Mod Class at Dragway 42 Friday, May 11, 2007

Dragway 42 is proud to announce the addition of Wind-It-Tight Engines to the family of track advertisers with the company becoming the title sponsor of the "Wind-It-Tight Engines" Mod Class for the 2007 season.

Wind-It-Tight Engines, LLC is a Willard, Ohio based full service engine machine shop and repair facility offering race engine, high performance street engine, as well as diesel, farm, agricultural, and turbocharged engine work.

"Wind-It-Tight Engines has been serving our area for over 30 years but this is our company's first direct involvement with a racing facility," stated Wind-It-Tight owner John Miller. "A number of our customers are racers at Dragway 42 and our recent visit to the track on one of the point race days was all that we needed to see to know that Wind-It-Tight needed to be involved in a big way with Dragway 42, its racers, and its fans."

In addition to Dragway 42's previously announced prize package for the 2007 Mod Class track champion of a Dragway 42 Gold Card (good for free race entry to all track events during the 2008 season and valued at over $2,500), the track champion jacket, track champion plaque, and special photo package courtesy of Kruger's Photos, the addition of Wind-It-Tight Engines to the program will now allow the track to present a check for $1,000 to the 2007 "Wind-It-Tight Engines" Mod Class Champion, a $350 check to the Wind-It-Tight Mod Class season points runner-up, and a $125 check to the 3rd place finisher in the season long Wind-It-Tight Mod class point standings.

"We are very proud that John Miller and Wind-It-Tight Engines have come on-board with Dragway 42. The new Wind-It-Tight Mod class points fund represents a nearly 50% increase over the payout to the 2006 Mod class racers as well as an expansion in the program that allows us to pay the top 3 racers rather than just the class champion," said Dragway 42's Toby Ehrmantraut.

The financial investments of our 2007 class sponsors Wind-It-Tight Engines plus Milestone Services Corp, Akron Horsepower, The Bike Shop of Akron, Vanson Leathers, Pat Catan's Craft Centers, and World Cup Coffee have made it possible for cash payout to be made to the top placing racers in all of the weekend point classes for the first time in the history of Dragway 42.

"Sometimes we are all guilty of having a short memory," continued Ehrmantraut. "It was this same week, just one year ago, when Dragway 42 announced our very first class sponsor and a cash payout to point champion in that class. By the end of 2006 we had three classes with point champion sponsors, and now we stand here one year later with every single one of our weekend classes paying out not just a champion bonus, but payouts to at least the top 3 racers in each of those classes."

"Our point championship bonus payouts are a direct result of the great companies who have stepped forward to sponsor our various classes as they see the value that the track and the racers and fans who have supported Dragway 42 for the past 50 years offer to them," reflected Ehrmantraut.

"We certainly hope that our racers and fans recognize all of the businesses who use their advertising dollars to support our racers and the facility and take the time to consider each of these companies when the time comes to buy the merchandise and services that each of our sponsor's companies have to offer."
