Although Dragway 42's racing season 'officially' began on January 1st with the track's 11th Annual Hangover Nationals,
racers can now begin to make their plans for the remainder of the season with the release today of Dragway 42's
full 2010 schedule.
Dragway 42 will kick off the springtime portion of its 54th consecutive year of racing with a pair of Saturday and
Sunday events on March 20-21 and March 27-28.
The nearly 100 event schedule for Dragway 42's 2010 season picks up steam with more weekend action in early April.
The middle part of April sees the first Friday Night event of the year on April 16th with a 1/4 mile Test &
Tune and Grudge Racing program that continue each week through October 29th.

Two days following the Friday night opener, Dragway 42's Summit SuperSeries point season gets underway with the first
of one dozen of these guaranteed cash purse events on Sunday, April 18th.
Following the successful pattern begun last year, two to three Summit SuperSeries events are scheduled each month
during the heart of the season, culminating with the final points event on Sunday, September 12th.
Racers DO NOT have have to be part of the Summit SuperSeries points program to compete in these events at Dragway 42,
but with this year's program paying out $200,000 in cash and prizes, why wouldn't you?
The Summit SuperSeries events will be held on the following Sundays:
April 18 • May 2 and 16 • June 6, 13, and 27
July 4 and 18 • August 8, 22, and 29 • September 12
Dragway 42's weeknight program gets under on May 4th with the first of its Tuesday night events which will
continue each week through October 26th.

These events feature all evening 1/4 mile Test & Tunes along with street and grudge race action. Highlighting each
Tuesday night will be 3 qualifying sessions in the 2010 edition of Dragway 42's 100 MPH Club for Street Legal Cars,
presented by Big 3 Racing and Big 3 Automotive of Brunswick.
Dragway 42 will also be continuing its decades long tradition of value priced holiday weekend events in 2010.
On the Memorial Day weekend the track will play host to a 3-Day "Cheap Race" program which kicks off with an all
evening test and tune along with optional, 100% payback gambler races for Box and No Box cars on Friday night. To add
to the racer's winnings, the two Friday night eliminator winners will face of in a one round, Summit Retail Runoff for
an additional bonus of $250 in Summit Racing Equipment gift cards.

Saturday and Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend will see a $1,000 to win race each day with Monday of Memorial Day
weekend being reserved as rain date if needed.
The car and driver entry fee of just $50.00 covers the full costs of Friday's test and tune as well as both Saturday's
and Sunday's $1,000 to win eliminators.
The Independence Day weekend at Dragway 42 will see a unique schedule that begins Friday night with test and tune
event coupled with a no additional cost Box/No Box combo eliminator.
Just as scheduled on the Memorial Day weekend kickoff, this Friday Independence Day weekend event will conclude with
the Box and No Box class winners racing a single bonus round for $250 worth of Summit Retail Store gift cards.

Saturday of Independence Day weekend will see Dragway 42's 4th Annual "Appreciation Event" with free race entry into
four separate classes that day. This year's "Appreciation Event" will also be the track's IHRA Ironman Classic, with
each of the four class winners taking home one of the coveted IHRA Ironman trophies.
Wrapping up the Independence Day weekend will be the 7th scheduled Summit SuperSeries event of the season, complete
with a guaranteed cash purse in the Top, Mod, Street classes for big cars as well as the Junior Dragster's Jr. Fuel
and Jr. Super Stock classes.

The roar of vintage machines hot rods and Rock & Roll music takes over Dragway 42 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,
July 23, 24, and 25 when the track hosts its 5th Annual "Rock and Race" Nostalgia Weekend.
The exhibition cars and big money bracket racing action returns to Dragway 42 with its annual "Night of Thunder" event
on Saturday, August 21st followed by a Summit SuperSeries event the following day.
September's schedule gets underway with Dragway 42's "All No Box" Cheap Race weekend on Labor Day weekend, September
3-5.

The "All No Box" Labor Day weekend program is nearly identical to the Memorial Day weekend with a test & tune and
optional gambler race with Summit Retail Runoff bonus on Friday. Both Saturday and Sunday will see their own, separate
$1,000 to win eliminators. This event features the "Cheap Race Weekend" philosophy with a $50 car and driver entry
covering the entire weekend's program and Monday being reserved as a rain date if needed.
Dragway 42's 12th Annual "Halloween Thing" weekend will be run on October 15, 16, and 17th. Be sure to join us for 3
big days of racing action and Halloween Fun plus the season's final Summit Retail Runoff bonus.

The 2010 schedule continues into the month of November with Sunday events on the 7th and 14th, continuing deeper into
the month with the cooperation of Mother Nature.
Recognizing the continuing need for groups, organizations, and car clubs to be able to host their own events on
weekend dates, Dragway 42 will again make at least 2 Saturday's per month available to these folks for track
rentals during the 2010 season.
Track rental rates begin as low as $495 for a 3 hour rental which includes track prep, necessary staff, and an
ambulance on hand for the duration of the event. Use the email link found on each page of Dragway42.com to contact us
