Outlaw 660: About Us
Outlaw 660 Racers is a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting heads up drag racing for pro modified and outlaw dragster classes under the direction of Dragway 42.

Friday, June 30: “Tribute to Friday Night Khaos” – rain out

  • SURPRISE UPGRADE: One lucky winner will be given the chance to enjoy the day from the starting line with an Outlaw 660 driver and crew of his/her choice!

Saturday, August 26: “Rock n Race”

  • Racing and rock music in the biggest event of the year: nostalgia racing, outlaw racing, nitro exhibition, live bands, show and shine, swap meet, and much more!
  • FRIDAY: Jr. Dragster racing, fun runs, flag start drags, jet cars!
  • SATURDAY: Wheel-standers, nostalgia funny cars, Outlaw 660 Quick 8!
  • SUNDAY: Hot rods, muscle cars, gassers, burn out contest and car show!
  • ADMISSION: Friday: $20 | Saturday: $20 | Sunday: $5 | Weekend Pass: $35 | Children (14-under) free

Mission 22 Program
We are United In The War Against Veteran Suicide and have #MI22ION shirts available for sale ($22) in the KB Trailer at back of staging. Half of the proceeds are donated to help Mission 22 provide PTSD therapy, build large-scale memorials, and raise awareness.

Outlaw 660 Rules & Procedures




MUST have engine diapers.

Superchargers must have restraint system.

Supercharged Nitromethane nostalgia rules apply.

Injected Nitromethane on nostalgia entry’s only.

Single power adder only.


Drivers Meeting

There will be a mandatory drivers meeting held at each race before the 1st round of qualifying.


Class Call

Two calls will be given. If driver/car is a no-show, and the first pair of cars fire up in your class, your run is forfeited (qualifying and eliminations).


Qualifying Procedure:

Lane Assignments will be given to each driver prior to qualifying or drivers will be instructed on which lane to take at head of staging.

Car must make a qualifying run in each lane.

Two qualifying runs maximum.


Class Decals

MUST run sponsor, series, and class decals (checked during tech).

All decals supplied must be placed in a prominent location on the car.

Failure to display supplied decals will result in forfeiture of any payment.


Starting Line

Track crew and driver/crew members ONLY!

Maximum crew members on starting line (6).


Qualifying and Eliminations

Drivers can self-start or tow vehicle to the burnout box.

MUST self-stage. MUST stage under power (car can’t be pushed to stage).

If your vehicle will not start, you will be pushed to the back of your class to try to start it. If you do not succeed by the end of your class, your run will be forfeited. Qualifying Only!

If during your burnout fluid is leaking and the starter tells you to shut off the car, that run is forfeited.

During eliminations COURTESY STAGE IS A MUST!

Once your car is staged the car cannot be touched by crew member.



The Outlaw 660 series will run on a sportsman ladder.

Low ET receives lane choice



Visible shut-off switch on dragsters and door cars.

All safety items will be checked at tech.




Drivers equipment must meet the following  SFI Certification:

Helmet SA2005 or Newer

Gloves 3.3/5+

Seatbelts 16.1 / 16.5

Jackets 3.2A/15+

Pants 3.2A/15

Shoes 3.3/5+



Car must pre-stage under own power to receive round money



All dispute decisions will be made by track officials.


Rain Outs

If all cars make both qualifying passes and the track calls the race prior to eliminations, the top 8 qualifiers of each class will split their purse. The Top MPH and Low ET will get their $250.00.

In the event this does not occur, the purse will be divided evenly (per class) over the remaining races.


In addition, participants must follow all rules & regulations set forth by Dragway 42.
