Limited 275 Rules:
1/8th Mile. Heads Up. 400 Pro Tree. Chip Draw. Chip Draw puts your spot on a Pro Ladder. In the event of an odd number of cars and there is a bye run, chip #1 gets the bye round 1. Boards Off. Slips Split. Prepped Track. Water Burnout Only. IHRA Rules Apply. HANS device (or equivalent) must be worn at all times. All vehicles must utilize an IHRA/NHRA accepted lower engine oil-retention device. Window Net SFI 27.1 is mandatory. Minimum turnaround time between rounds; 40 Minutes. No Tube Chassis. Must Have Steel Roof & Quarters, vehicles originally manufactured with composite (fiberglass/carbon) body panels may retain those OEM composite panels. Light weight body panels are restricted to hood, fenders, bumpers, doors and deck-lid/truck-lid or hatch. Aftermarket roof panels are permitted on 2005 and newer or any vehicles produced with OEM composite roof panel are permitted replacement panels of carbon or fiberglass material. Maximum front overhang of 45” as measured from the centerline of the front spindle. Factory wheelbase for year/make/model must be maintained, plus or minus two (2) inches. Must have stock location firewall as it was installed at the factory. Must have stock factory floorpans. Tin Floor permitted with weight penalty. Max Tire Size 275 60 or 10.5″ x 28″ (Non W) Must have a functional cooling system that passes through the block or heads. Must have a functional alternator battery charging system. (No Generator/Battery Chargers Permitted).

No billet aluminum blocks or heads permitted in Limited 275. Billet block & heads permitted for Inline combos. *Dual power adders are permitted on inline combinations only.

Weight Additions / Reductions:
-250lbs for stick shift H pattern equipped vehicles.
+25lbs for Hammer / Hemi-Head Small Block (except Coyote, Mod Motor, & Gen III Hemi).
+75lbs for Big Chief Heads / Spread-Port Big Block.
+100lbs for Tin Floor.
+75lbs for Aftermarket Style Front Suspension.
-100lbs for Leaf Spring Rear Suspension.
-50lbs for Stock Block Small Block applications.
-50lbs for Stock Style Fox Body 4-link suspension or Mustang 3-link.
Ultra Street crossover : Ultra Street weight -100lbs
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS: If any of these are not met you will receive a 1 year warning.
Valid NHRA, IHRA, or PDRA competition license is required.
Driver restraint system meeting SFI Spec 16.1 certification required (7-point system recommended). Restraint system must be updated at two-year intervals from date of manufacture.
Head and Neck restraint – SFI 38.1 required. An aluminum skid plate located above the driver’s head is recommended.
Helmet with SN-2015 or newer, SFI 31.2 or 41.2 required. Use of an open-faced helmet is prohibited. Eject Helmet Removal System (Part # SDR 890-01-30) or equivalent is recommended.
Protective Clothing including – A driver’s suit meeting SFI 3.2A/15, gloves meeting SFI 3.3A/10, shoes meeting SFI 3.3/10 and a head sock meeting SFI 3.3 mandatory. A head sock is not required when a helmet manufactured with a skirt meeting SFI 3.3 is used. (If methanol is the fuel of choice, SFI 3.2A/20 suit, gloves and shoes are recommended.)
Roll Bar Padding with SFI 45.1 required.
FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM – SFI 17.1 system required. The system must contain a minimum of 10-pounds of fluid or gas fire suppression agent for race gas, and 20-pounds for methanol combinations. One nozzle required inside the driver’s compartment must be directed at the driver’s feet. Two or more nozzles must be directed at the front of the engine and fuel cell. All fire suppression must be released with a single actuation (i.e., single handle, button, or lever).
*Any rules not covered will need approval by Tech/Promoter. The promoter reserves the right to rule changes in Limited 275 after each race is completed and prior to the next race on the schedule to maintain parity.*
